Refund Policy

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through LuxyNames, a brand operated by The Complete Studio, which conducts business under the name LuxyNames (“The Complete Studio”, “LuxyNames”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By purchasing a domain name through LuxyNames, you (“Buyer”, “you”) acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.

 

1. General Refund Principle

All domain name sales or consulting services made through LuxyNames are final and non-refundable, except where explicitly stated in this Policy.

Domain names are unique digital assets, and consulting services are digital services where LuxyNames starts working from day one, so once a purchase process has begun, they cannot be returned, exchanged, or reversed in the same manner as physical goods.

 

2. No Refunds After Purchase Confirmation

Refunds will not be issued for any of the following reasons:

  • Buyer changes their mind
  • Buyer no longer wishes to proceed
  • Business plans change
  • Buyer fails to conduct trademark or legal checks
  • Buyer claims the domain is unsuitable for their business
  • Buyer experiences delays caused by registrars, registries, or escrow providers
  • Buyer is unable to use the domain due to third-party platform restrictions

 

Any payment made toward the consulting services or purchase of a domain name listed on LuxyNames — including but not limited to token payments, reservation fees, advance payments, partial payments, or down payments — is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.

Such payments are considered a commitment by the Buyer to proceed with the purchase and may result in the domain being reserved, removed from public listing, or held exclusively for the Buyer.

Once any amount is paid towards consulting services or a specific domain name, the Buyer forfeits the right to request a refund, regardless of whether:

  • The remaining balance is paid or not
  • The Buyer decides not to proceed
  • Business, legal, or branding considerations change
  • The transaction is later abandoned by the Buyer

 

Buyers are strongly advised to complete all necessary due diligence before making any payment, including partial or token payments. LuxyNames shall have no obligation to re-list, resell, or compensate the Buyer for any forfeited token or advance payments.

 

3. No Refunds After Transfer or Usage

Once any of the following occurs, no refunds will be issued:

  • Buyer has made a payment, including but not limited to token payments, reservation fees, advance payments, partial payments, or down payments – is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Ownership of the domain has been transferred to the Buyer
  • DNS records or nameservers have been changed at the Buyer’s request
  • The domain has been pushed to the Buyer’s registrar account
  • Escrow conditions have been satisfied

 

This applies regardless of whether a technical transfer is fully completed or subject to registry holding periods.

 

4. Escrow-Related Transactions

When a Buyer chooses to use a third-party escrow service:

  • The escrow provider’s refund and dispute policies shall apply
  • LuxyNames is not responsible for escrow decisions, reversals, or delays
  • Escrow fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise by the escrow provider

 

Any disputes raised through escrow must be resolved directly with the escrow provider, subject to their terms.

 

5. Exceptional Circumstances

A refund may be considered, at the sole discretion of The Complete Studio, only in the following limited circumstances:

  • The domain is proven to be unavailable due to an internal error prior to transfer
  • The domain cannot be delivered due to circumstances solely caused by LuxyNames

 

In such cases:

  • Refunds, if approved, will be limited to the amount actually paid for the domain after deducting administrative and working fees, which are decided at the sole discretion of The Complete Studio
  • No additional compensation, damages, or costs shall be payable

 

6. Processing of Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible
  • Processing times may vary depending on payment providers or escrow services
  • Any third-party fees already incurred may be deducted from the refunded amount

 

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting LuxyNames constitutes a violation of this Policy.

The Complete Studio reserves the right to:

  • Contest chargebacks
  • Suspend current or future transactions
  • Recover associated fees, costs, or damages

 

All documentation, communication, and policy acceptance records may be submitted to payment processors as evidence.

 

8. Disclaimer of Guarantees

LuxyNames does not guarantee:

  • Trademark availability
  • Business success
  • Brand acceptance
  • SEO performance
  • Future value or resale potential of any domain

 

Refund requests based on unmet expectations or perceived outcomes will not be honored.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • LuxyNames shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the domain
  • LuxyNames is not responsible for losses caused by third-party services, registrars, registries, or escrow providers

 

10. Policy Updates

This Refund Policy may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of LuxyNames services constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
